International Health Initiatives
In our Health Initiatives program, we extend our reach beyond local community health to encompass international efforts, with a significant focus on Africa. We collaborate with other nonprofits and NGOs to develop health clinics & support public health initiatives aimed at combating diseases such as malaria, typhoid fever, and addressing maternal mortality and morbidity.
The Better Family Life Feather Fund
The Better Family Life Feather Fund is dedicated to the preservation and enduring vibrancy of the New Orleans Indigenous Masking Societies, also known as the Black Masking Indians or Mardi Gras Indians. This pivotal aspect of New Orleans culture, with its rich traditions and community significance, faced severe economic setbacks due to the pandemic.

This comprehensive program supports a wide range of interests, including participants who are eager to develop a business out of their cultural arts passions.
